This private ceremony by So Alegria takes place not in a retreat centre but in the hosts’ own home in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, a quiet village just outside Amsterdam. Dates are arranged individually, and the guidance is dedicated to a single person or at most two participants who already know each other. This allows the facilitators to attune fully to you, your intention and your process.

The day begins gently in the afternoon with tea and a landing conversation before the ceremony is held in two rounds in the evening. A warm meal follows, and you sleep right in the ceremony space so body and mind can settle undisturbed. Beforehand there is an online intake and a personal call to clarify safety and fit; after the experience, the team remains available to support your integration.

Programme

1. Day 1: Arrival around 4 pm, a calm landing with tea and an intention conversation, the private two-round ceremony in the evening, then a warm meal and overnight stay.
2. Day 2: Shared breakfast, time for reflection and talking through the experience, closing and journey home between 11 am and noon.
