In a quiet forest area near ’s-Hertogenbosch, So Alegria hosts a weekend built deliberately around slowing down. Two plant ceremonies form the heart of the programme, framed by gentle yoga, a rapé circle before ceremony and plenty of time in nature. On Sunday, a traditional sweat lodge rounds off the weekend. The group stays small, so everyone receives the attention they need.
The style of the team around founders Christian and Isabel is grounded and unpretentious: deep work is allowed to feel light here, with room for warmth, humanity and the occasional smile rather than dramatic staging. Before booking, So Alegria asks you to get in touch for a short online intake that clarifies safety and fit. You sleep in cosy shared rooms with six beds, and the vegetarian meals are aligned with the ceremonial process.

„The ceremony was intense, but I never felt alone for a moment. The integration afterwards helped me a lot."
